Petrol or diesel may be purchased from the local garage close to the Marie (Town
Hall). The Post Office is opposite the Marie & Doctors surgery is close-by. There
is a pharmacy opposite the Bar, in the center of the small village.
Further afield is the town of ROSTRENEN, (six miles) with its larger shopping area,
three supermarkets and a Tuesday street market.
Carhaix, in the opposite direction, is a lively interesting Roman town, with a number
of “out of town” stores, a Saturday morning market and a HOSPITAL.
